This is a really great article that reviews a host of powerful on-line tools for authors. Our Bitterrroot web site is running on the Wordpress.org self-hosted blogging engine. I frequently use Google Docs for word processing (for reasons I will explain in another article coming soon!) and I currently run a Facebook page for myself as well as for my Artiste Gullible web adventures.
This article is a good overview of the who, what, and where of online writing tools.
